I'm a Chris Brown fan. I am also related to women in abusive relationships even one that resulted in the murder of my cousin by her husband. Do I have ill feelings towards Chris? No. He had nothing to do with what happened to those I know nor do I compare what happened that one night between him and Rihanna to relationships I know of that have DV happen often. Hell, my mom was verbally, emotionally, and physically abusive with my father when they were married but she gave as much as she took yet I wasn't raised to hate my father nor do I hate him.

What I don't understand from all these people that suddenly want to come out of nowhere and defend women that have been abused is why they all come after Chris. People are being to specific when there are so many people that get abused every single day..men, women, and children who do not have voices to defend themselves. Coming after Chris does not stop their abusers but give them reasons to stay quiet.

Rihanna actually pressed charges, not sure if she meant to because I've heard stories of her supposedly wanting to drop restraining orders, etc, but Chris went to Court. The Judge gave him the punishment seen fit for someone who had no prior charges and under the California law was found to do community service, attend anger management classes and several years of probation. Yet, instead of looking up what someone in Chris' situation would get for DV charges in California, people want to say, "he belongs in jail."

Another thing is, Chris has NEVER said anything bad about Rihanna..at 19, he did not go and point fingers at her nor tell his side of the story that may or may not include what Rihanna may have done to him (show me his mug shot and then you can disagree with what I'm saying).

It has been three years and people still bring up what happened as though everyone has forgotten. How can we when it is always brought up no matter what Rihanna or Chris is doing in their lives. If each is in a new relationship, references are made about the ex, comparing, etc. Their songs are analyzed on whether or not they are talking about the other regardless of the possibility of other songwriters penning the songs.

And now this wrestler wants to suddenly fight Chris. For what? He's not doing it for Rihanna because hell, it has been three years, why now? What, people aren't allowed to move on with their lives after the one done wrong has long since forgiven and moved on? This wrestler is a joke and should be ignored because he is just singling out Chris. I would respect him more if he had called out for any man that was an abuser to come and fight him. And if he had really done research, just because a man hits a woman (women) does not mean that same man will not fight another man and kick his butt! He can have a sit with J-Z and any other clown that claimed he was gonna F Chris up or kill him (hell, if you have that kind of determination, fight someone in your own neighborhood that is abusive..foh) cuz none of them have done anything nor come close to doing something.

This is exactly why those that do time go back to old habits because they are rarely given the chance to show they have changed or given a chance to do something with their lives. Someone like Oprah who refused to have Chris on her show yet I have seen let a white police office who attempted to kill his wife twice sit and talk with her, could have used this situation, used Chris to show the world, "this young man did something terrible, harmed another human being (even though we pay to see boxers fight each other, etc.) and he is slowly making his way back to being the kind of man he can be in due time. I wanted him on my show so that we can speak to the abusers and victims who deal with this situation on a daily as well as their families and friends, people around the communities to become aware of what is occurring and find ways to get out of those situations." This to me does not mean you are taking his side, this means that you are looking at the situation from the perspective of everyone and how they can deal with what makes them stay in abusive relationships. But sadly Oprah decided that "if he does it once, he'll do it again" was the best remedy for what happened three years ago. smh

I agree with her 100%......She is on point with everything she said....That is the business of Hollywood....They praise stars and tell them how wonderful they are but the sad part is alot of them are crazy to believe it.........The classic Hollywood mind game they play is as soon as your star start to fade, scandal happen or when they can't use you anymore they are ready to destroy you......Or when you are even at the top of the game they still try to destroy you....And the main ring leader pulling the trigger is none other than the "MEDIA"

I just hate the way they treated Whitney at the end and I can understand how Janet felt...I was heartbroken even though I did not know the woman personally.....She had a gift which was through her music that touched so many people like MJ did.......Wendy William will experience the karma in the end.
